Mary and Maysaa were buried from the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius, the same church the Israeli occupation army bombed in October 2023, killing 18 displaced people sheltering inside. Speaking at the funeral, he called the strike a crime and said no one has the right to hold a death sentence over any civilian in Gaza. The killings come a year into a ceasefire the Israeli occupation has never stopped violating. At least 30 Palestinian Christians have been killed in Gaza since the genocide began.

I just returned from the seashore. What I saw was terrifying. Tens of thousands of torn and worn-out tents stretch along the coast, many at risk of flooding as rain and storms approach. There is nowhere else for people to flee; only 28% of Gaza City remains accessible.
Children, women, patients, and elderly people are living in these tents. Cold, flooding, disease, and collapsing tents are a real threat to their lives. There are not enough tents or safe places, while aid continues to decrease instead of increase.
Gaza needs urgent aid before winter. We do not need more promises. We need real action, more aid, and safe shelter before it is too late. Time is running out.

Elisha Yered, an Israeli settler with government backing who killed a Palestinian three years ago, has announced the opening of an olive mill in the illegal settlement of Itamar Hills in the occupied West Bank, styled after traditional Palestinian olive press designs, during the olive harvest season.
It is a fitting symbol of what is happening across the occupied West Bank this year: Palestinian farmers who tended their olive trees all year are being denied the harvest.
Israeli settlers, under full protection of occupation forces, stormed Palestinian groves two geeks before the official season began and stripped the trees bare.
In other areas, settlers took a more permanent approach, uprooting thousands of olive trees to prevent Palestinians from ever harvesting them again.
The olive tree is not just a crop in Palestine. It is identity, inheritance, and livelihood, passed from one generation to the next. This year, as in recent years, Israeli settlers did not only steal the olives. They stole the season.

๐จ BREAKING: The family of Renee Good and her partner, Rebecca Good, have filed two federal lawsuits over Goodโs January killing by ICE agent Jonathan Ross in Minneapolis.
The first lawsuit is against the United States itself, alleging wrongful death and other claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The complaint alleges Ross fired three times as Goodโs vehicle turned away from him, killing the 37-year-old mother of three, and argues the shooting violated the Fourth Amendment and DHS use-of-force policies.
The second, much broader lawsuit personally names Ross, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Corey Lewandowski, Tom Homan, Todd Lyons, Gregory Bovino, and other federal agents. It accuses them of participating in an unlawful conspiracy surrounding โOperation Metro Surgeโ and brings claims under the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, Bivens, and Minnesota law.
The 149-page complaint alleges Goodโs killing was not an isolated incident, but the โpredictable and intended productโ of a coordinated federal operation that plaintiffs say targeted Minnesotaโs Somali and Hispanic communities and sought to intimidate people documenting or warning others about federal enforcement activity.
Together, the lawsuits seek damages over Goodโs death and the injuries Rebecca Good says she suffered after witnessing the shooting.

๐จBREAKING : Preparations are underway for the burial of the remains of victims of the Israeli massacre in Gazaโs Al-Taj residential square.
The remains of 105 Palestinians have been recovered from beneath the rubble of buildings destroyed during the war.
In October 2023, the Israeli army struck the Al-Taj residential square with 20 U.S. made GBU-31 heavy bombs, each weighing nearly one ton, reducing the entire residential block to rubble and killing more than 500 civilians.
Initially, 120 bodies were recovered. With the recent recovery of 101 additional sets of remains, at least 221 bodies have now been recovered, while the remains of dozens of others are still unaccounted for.

Its map shows a single, borderless Israel from the Mediterranean to the Jordan River, with no West Bank or Gaza, and appears to fold in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
No U.S. law bars the ad, but the map contradicts international law. The UN Security Council declared Israel's 1981 annexation of the Golan "null and void," and the International Court of Justice found in 2024 that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territory is unlawful and that states must not recognize it. In the UK, in 2012, an ad regulator banned an Israeli tourism ad for misleadingly implying the West Bank, Gaza and Golan were Israeli.
